Short but stellar platformer
Jackquest: Tale of the Sword is a 2D platformer developed by NX Games and published by Crescent Moon Games. The game follows Jack as he embarks on a grand adventure to get his girlfriend back after she was kidnapped by monsters. He is aided on his quest by his trusty sword and his bow and arrow. Fans of old Metroidvania games will appreciate the nostalgia that Jackquest brings as much of it's aesthetic and gameplay is reminiscent of old 90s platforming games. With its flashy pixel graphics, high-octane music, and fast-paced combat, Jackquest will sure capture your attention for the two or three hours of gameplay that it has to offer.
